Los Angeles, CA -- The issue over whether Michael Jackson's dad will get an allowance from the pop star's estate is still being wrangled over. The men who run Jackson's estate oppose the request by Joe Jackson for a $15,000 a month stipend. In a motion filed in court last week, the estate executors say Jackson's father failed to prove he's due the money.

The filings also note Michael Jackson left his father out as a beneficiary in both his will and his trust -- and that any money paid to Joe Jackson would reduce the amount made available to the singer's mother and children. A judge will ultimately decide whether the singer's father will get any money from his son's estate.

Meanwhile the executors, John Branca and John McClain, are seeking 10 percent of profits they're able to generate from the late pop superstar's work.
